At Washington Endodontics, we incorporate cutting edge technologies in order to provide you the best treatment possible. Every operatory is equipped with specialized operating microscopes, which are used during all phases of your treatment. Magnification and fiber optic illumination enable us to see small (often missed) details such as calcified canals and fractures.
All radiographs are taken with digital sensors, providing instant viewing on our computer monitors while significantly reducing radiation levels compared to film-based x-rays. This technology allows for secure electronic transfer of medical information to your referring dentist.
Our Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) System provides a three-dimensional image of the jaws and areas of interest with an unprecedented level of detail and greatly reduced radiation compared to a medium and full field of view CBCT units. The CBCT is an excellent diagnostic tool, allowing us to locate and visualize details such as missed canals and the exact source of endodontic pathology, and to diagnose vertical root fractures.
